Love, in all its beauty and messiness, sits at the heart of my work. Through poetry and mixed-media painting, I explore the emotions that shape our relationships with others and ourselves, from longing and devotion to loss, hope, and everything in between.
My journey as a visual artist grew from my poetry practice following the publication of my debut collection. Since then, I've developed an abstract, mixed-media style that combines soft layers, muted colours, intuitive gestures, and fragments of my own verses. These elements come together to create works that feel both personal and open-ended, allowing emotion to take shape beyond words.
Creating is a reflective process for me. I follow feeling, memory, and instinct, letting each piece evolve organically. Through stupid.silly.love.mode and angelatroycreative, I seek to create moments of recognition and connection, offering gentle spaces where people can pause, reflect, and find pieces of their own story within mine.
